Mission Brief

Overview

Restaurant Old Metekhi is located in one of Tbilisi’s most historic and touristic areas, making it a naturally attractive destination for visitors to the city. Its traditional Georgian cuisine, iconic views, and authentic atmosphere have long ensured strong visibility and steady traffic, especially during peak tourist seasons.

Challenge

Despite its popularity, the restaurant’s audience was largely composed of tourists and highly seasonal. The main challenge was to engage the local audience, encourage repeat visits, and reposition the brand as a relevant and appealing dining destination for residents, not only visitors.

Solution

The project included a logo redesign that refreshed the brand’s visual identity while preserving its historical character. A renewed marketing and communication strategy was developed with a strong focus on the local market. In addition, themed events and holiday-focused activations were planned and executed throughout the year, increasing engagement and maintaining consistent activity beyond the tourist season.
